IndieBound: Celebrating Independence and Independents
GLBA and IndieBound are visiting a location near you this July. We want to answer your questions, share ideas, and help you position your store to take advantage of all of the opportunities available through IndieBound.
Take some time to meet with fellow booksellers and Jim Dana of GLBA and Paige Poe or Avin Domnitz of ABA. We'll talk about how to incorporate IndieBound in your store and your community, preview Paperback Dreams, a PBS documentary about independent bookstores, and discuss building community - independent communities - in other ways, such as Independent Business Alliances and through technology.
We want to make this programming work for you. So bring your staff and bring yourselves. Enjoy lunch with us (it’s free) as a way to energize your summer and prime you for the fall.
We look forward to seeing you. Let us know where you will meet us (see below) and how many people are attending ... Please RSVP by July 18 to help us plan for the meetings.
